Seamus with a fish of about 12lbs from downstream of Foxford. Seamus was also lucky enough to encounter two other fish that went on to continue their journey up stream.

Good morning from Foxford, slightly later than normal but we are back on track. We are in the process of migrating from our old website to the new one. Bear with us, it will take a little time to get it up and running properly.  The river is looking good and reports of fish are increasing. It is now at  0.49m at Ballylahan bridge and suitable for all methods. Bubble and fly should work well on the fisheries upstream (East mayo Anglers and Cloongee). From Foxford and downstream spinning and prawn will be the best methods. I fished the Lough yesterday afternoon and can now say for definite that the early part of the day is best at the moment… Blankety blank blank blank. It was nice to be out though and the company was good.
