A cloudy and breezy morning with mist in Foxford. Following some very heavy thunder showers on Sunday night and into Monday morning the river rose into a big brown flood yesterday. Water levels have started to fall and it is now at 1.28 m at Ballylahan bridge. This is still a big level and the water will be coloured . The best chance of a fish today is to go somewhere else or at least head well downstream to Ballina. Other alternatives are The rivers Easkey, Owenmore,Glenamoy, Erriff or one of the Loughs. Hopefully in the coming days the Moy will settle back into better fishing order. If you are on the Moy today, worm will be the best method.
