Thursday 6th August

The river is at 0.32m at Ballylahan bridge and is in good condition for all methods. Fish were taken on prawn and bubble and fly yesterday. Most of last nights rain appears to have missed us so im not expecting any significant rise in levels. Normally at this time of year spinning works well and as soon as we get the next rise this will again be the case. Time to shine up some of those old spoons, put new hooks on and be ready 🙂
