A nice morning in Foxford with a bit of broken cloud and a breeze. We had showers yesterday but nothing major. The river crept up a little over night and is at 0.35m at Ballylahan bridge. Not a lot of a rise but still enough to freshen things up a little. For anyone fishing today, spinning could be worth a try as fish will be on the move. The weather for the next few days seems similar with a mix of sunshine , cloud and showers. Not a bad forecast for angling and as the water temperature drops and we get occasional splashes of fresh water, catches will improve.
