A damp and breezy morning in Foxford, we had some rain yesterday afternoon and throughout the night. The river is rising, now at 0.53m at Ballylahan bridge it will continue to rise today. This should make for a good weekends fishing on the Moy, its looking windy for the Loughs. For today, the water will be ok for most of the day but I can imagine it will colour up later in the day. Worm and spin will be the best methods. Over the past few days we have had reasonable reports of fish in the lower parts of the system. This flood will now move fish into the upper parts like Cloongee and East Mayo Anglers waters where they have been waiting for water.
