Thursday 25/06/2026

Again this morning we have some welcome cloud over Foxford. An uncertain forecast for the next couple of days and it is likely we could see a bit of everything. Rain, if it does hit will be heavy and localised so we have to wait and see what happens. Hopefully we do get some rain if only to bring water temperatures down a little. I got an email last night from IFI to say that the Cloongee fishery is closed until water temperatures drop. I don’t have time this morning to share my personal views on that decision but at some point I hope to have the opportunity. For today, its another day of early morning and late evening fishing for Salmon, Fly and Prawn will be the best methods.
