A bit of hazy cloud over Foxford this morning, it is going to burn off I think. Reports of a few salmon taken in the Foxford area early yesterday morning and after that most anglers did the sensible thing and had a break during the mid day heat. I took my own advise yesterday evening and headed to a beach for a few hours. I didn’t catch anything but it was beautiful just to be there. The next few days are shaping up to be hot with what looks like a thunder storm heading our way on Thursday/Friday. Depending on where that happens and the amount of rain we get it could make for an interesting weekend. There is nothing certain about it so don’t get excited yet. For today, it will be early morning and late evening with Prawn and bubble and fly the best methods.
