A slightly duller start to the day in Foxford with some high cloud, it will most likely turn into another sunny day. As we all know the past while has been difficult for salmon angling and it looks like this will be the case for another while. There may be a change over the weekend and if we get some cloud and a little wind the bubble and fly could work very well in the low water. I would say the main problem at the moment is that the water has heated up and the fish are uncomfortable. Still a few fish been taken in the early morning and late evenings. For today I would concentrate on some of the more streamy water, even if it is shallow fish will be lying there. A small spinner could produce results.
