Looking like another beautiful day in Foxford. There’s a little breeze blowing on the river this morning putting a nice ripple across the water. Looking at the forecast we might get some thundery rain later this evening. I’ve often seen fish to take immediately after thunder. Its a long shot but for anyone with a spare few hours this evening it might be worth a look. Apart from that its grim enough on the Salmon front. We need a change in conditions, the fish are there. I’m hearing some reasonable reports of sea trout and theres mackerel around so its not all doom and gloom. No reports from Lough Conn but again Id say that anyone who does a late evening might be well rewarded, its a beautiful place to be if nothing else. Enjoy
