A foggy morning on the river, it will soon burn off. We are facing another bright day and looking at the long range forecast we could be facing a few of them. Fish are moving and we are getting reports of catches but its not easy on the river at the moment. The best time to fish is the late evening which is ok for anyone living locally or staying for a few days but hardly worth travelling for. On the plus side, when the weather changes and we get some fresh water through the system there will be some good fishing. At this point I would say that for anyone making plans for the bank holiday weekend, rule out salmon angling.
