Bright blue skies with a light breeze in Foxford, not ideal for salmon angling. The river is getting low and fish are holding in the lower parts now. Some reasonable reports coming from Ballina and the Cathedral beat seems to be fishing pretty well. There’s still a few fresh fish making their way through Foxford and we are getting reports of fish been taken. Late evening will remain the best time to fish for the next few days. Prawn and flies will be the best baits.
