A dark morning with wintry showers in Foxford, not quite what the weather forecast is saying. It’s not too bad and the showers should not majorly effect water levels, it may creep up a little. There was a few more anglers on the river yesterday and we did get a few reports of fish taken. I spoke to one angler yesterday afternoon who had been fishing on East Mayo Anglers waters, he had been using a flying C without success so changed to a silver Toby, he caught two salmon in a short period. The weather is forecast to remain relatively dry and slightly cooler for the coming days. Water levels will hopefully continue to fall and we should see some reasonable fishing for the last week of the season. The shop is open today from 8am to 10am and will re open at 8am on Tuesday morning
