A mixed morning in Foxford, showers followed by heavier showers. The river is rising and is now at 1.2m at Ballylahan bridge. It is very coloured in Foxford. This is a mix of fresh water from upstream and sand from the Loughs following recent strong winds. If I was trying to plan a day salmon fishing on the Moy it would not be this weekend. Along with the rising water levels, the weather forecast is not good with Sleet and wind promised. Hopefully the weather will settle a little before Easter.
