Sunday 20/06/2021

6 AM Sunday 20/06/2021. The early bird Billy with one ready to net on Bakers fishery Foxford.

A dry start to the day in Foxford. The forecast is for some rain today and this evening. It doesn’t look like we will get enough for a flood but it might help. Overall the fishing has been good in the past few days. The river is at 0.26m at Ballylahan bridge, low but still fresh fish moving. I had half an hour at the back of the town earlier and saw a few fish moving. If we get a little bit of wind later the bubble and fly should work well again today. We will be closing the shop at 12 today and tomorrow Monday.
