The grey sky is lingering over Foxford and it looks like we will have drizzle soon. The forecast is not giving any significant rain so water levels should not rise today. The river is currently at 0.52m at Ballylahan bridge and will be suitable for all methods. While water levels stay as they are, everyday we should see more Grilse arriving in the system. Judging by reports from further upstream and what I have seen myself on the Loughs, a lot of the early fish seem to be heading straight into the Lough. This is normal for the early run Grilse which are often caught at the North end of Lough Conn with sea lice still on them. For today, all methods are worth trying. The shop will be open from 8am to Noon today and will re open at 8am on Tuesday morning.
