Another grey morning in Foxford and it looks like we will have some rain throughout the day. There was a few heavy showers last night and I would expect them to at least hold the level of the water if not creep it up a little during the day. It is now at 0.72m at Ballylahan bridge which is a very nice level. there will be a stain in he water making it borderline for fly and prawn but it will be in nice order for spin and worm. All reports would indicate Grilse running yesterday, a lot of these early Grilse will run straight through the system and into the Loughs.
