Still breezy and the occasional heavy shower this morning in Foxford. The river is dropping again and is now at 1.48m at Ballylahan bridge. It will hold a high level from Foxford downstream for a good while yet. The forecast for the week ahead seems mixed but there might be less rain, hopefully. As I said the other day, once the river comes back into a fishable condition there will be a reasonable chance of a fish. Anglers are getting itchy feet now and are ready to get back on the water whether it be river or Lough, our phone has been hot over the past week. Lets see what happens in the coming days.

The shop is open today from 8am to 12 Noon and will re open at 8am on Tuesday morning
