It could be November, chilly, windy and wet in Foxford. The river is well up again, now at 1.64m at Ballylahan bridge. With the continuing showers it will hold a high level for the next few days. My best advise today is stay at home. If you do travel make sure you have diesel to get home, there’s more salmon than diesel around here at the moment. #Looking forward to better times, they will come.

A dark morning with heavy drizzle and a fresh breeze in Foxford. The river is dropping again and is now at 0.67m at Balllylahan bridge.
