A dry morning with high cloud over Foxford, its looking like we will have some light rain in the afternoon but it should not be anything too significant. The river is dropping and is now at 0.98m at Ballylahan bridge. It stayed dirty yesterday but will be clearing well today. Overall the fishing has been tough for the past while. It’s not just Salmon fishing, the trout have gone quiet as well. I would be hopeful that with the fresh water we will see an improvement over the weekend. For today spin and worm will be the best methods, by evening the Prawn may be worth a try.
