A bright morning with blue skies in Foxford. We are under the influence of a high pressure system which will hopefully bring a few dry days. I’ve often said that high water in spring is good but this year we have just had too much of the good thing. The river is falling slowly, now at 1.14 at Ballylahan bridge. It has cleared out well and is suitable for spin or worm fishing. If the weather does remain settled through next week, conditions should be good by the weekend.
