A fresh breezy morning in Foxford. The river is in nice condition for all methods, 0.65m at Ballylahan bridge. It looks like a nice day for bubble and fly. There was a few salmon taken yesterday in Foxford on this method, slightly larger flies ( size 10 ) seemed to be working. For anyone looking for a bit of fly fishing East Mayo Anglers will be well worth trying and there has been relatively low angling pressure up there recently.  No major rain forecast so the river should continue to settle which will help. Its never great when we get flood after flood and its up and down every second day. We will be closing at Noon today.
