The nice thing about the good weather is there are alternatives that can be explored

Looking like another nice day in Foxford, yesterday turned out to be very bright and hot. Today may not be as good (from a weather point of view) but it will still be difficult in the middle part for Salmon angling. Morning and later in the evening will be the best times. The water is holding a surprisingly good level, the rocks in Foxford are just starting to show. There’s no major rain forecast so It will probably drop fast in the next week.  For today, bait fishing in some of the deeper pools or fly and bubble and fly further upstream will be the best methods. The forecast is for some wind this evening which should help anyone on the evening Salmon shift.

A little Dog fish, these lads could be good fun on a fly rod….
