As expected the river was creeping up yesterday and peaked at just under 0.7m at Ballylahan bridge. This has put a noticeable fresh drop of water through the system and it should move a few fish. The forecast is for some heavy rain in the west this morning. So far its a dull showery morning in Foxford. Spinning and worm will be the best methods today.
