A still morning, slightly cool with a mist over the river, one could probably say there’s  a touch of Autumness in the air this morning. The forecast for the weekend is not looking great from and angling point of view, there seems to be a bit of good weather on the way. Over the past few days I would say the number of fish caught has increased, theres very little angling activity but for those who can be there at the right moment the fish are starting to take again. Prawn and bubble and fly have been the most productive methods. For anyone travelling to fish my advise would still be to hold out for another week or two, a flood would make a great difference.
