A grey and dark morning in Foxford, looks like we are going to have a wet day. The forecast is for some heavy thunder showers. If some of these fall upstream they will effect the river, could make tomorrow difficult. That’s if and could, lets see what happens today. Not much of a breeze yet but there is some wind forecast which will make for a good afternoon for the bubble and fly. For now the river is at 0.48m at Ballylahan bridge and is suitable for all methods. Prawn should work well on the fisheries downstream of Foxford. I will update here this evening once I get an idea of how much rain is falling.

Update @ 18:45 we have had a persistent drizzle for most of the day in Foxford. There was also a few heavy showers but the heaviest of the rainfall seems to have missed us. Its difficult to say what will happen with water levels. I would expect a rise in levels by morning and with it some colour.
