A misty damp morning in Foxford, not enough to change water levels but lets see how long it lasts for. The river is low, 0.25m at Ballylahan bridge with a lot of rocks showing in Foxford. Still good numbers of fresh Grilse moving, a lot of these are small. Hopefully the bigger lads are gathering in the estuary and waiting for some water, the next flood should bring a good run. For the weekend ahead it looks like the weather will be mixed and possibly not ideal for angling at times, Sunday afternoon is forecast bright and sunny. Bait fishing on some of the deeper parts will be best. If this rain develops into anything worthwhile I will update here tonight.
