A little bit of cloud in the sky over Foxford this morning and it looks like it will be an ok fishing day. The week gone by has been very quiet on the banks of the Moy with virtually no anglers out fishing. This will change from today and we will see a few more anglers trying their luck for the weekend. As long as the sun doesn’t break out they will be in with a good chance of success. The best areas to try will be from Foxford downstream, up stream the water is very low, 0.28m at Ballylahan bridge. Best methods will be Prawn and Bubble and fly. For anyone interested in trout fishing, with a nice hatch of Mayfly, Loughs Conn and Cullin are both doing well and well worth a try.
