Another overcast morning with a little bit of drizzle in Foxford. Its not too bad and has the makings of a nice day for the Lough where there should be some Mayfly hatching. Reports of a couple of salmon yesterday and again anglers in the Foxford and Pontoon bridge area reported seeing some fish moving. The river has actually crept up by a few centimetres overnight, it is now at 0.55m at Ballylahan bridge. Its not going to rise any more today. The forecast is for showers today and there is a possibility of some heavier rain tomorrow. For anyone planning a day out, tomorrow would be the safer bet. If we do get the rain, Sunday and Monday could be difficult. All methods are worth a try today.
