Friday 20/01/2023 A few pics

Good morning from a milder Foxford. There was a big drop in temperatures this week as the rain finally stopped. Instead we had frost and hail but at least we could see some blue sky now and again. The river is still very high and will be for another while but its amazing how quickly levels can come back to normal once the rain stops. Still no news of a first salmon of the season from the Drowse, I imagine it wont be long now. There is less than two weeks left until opening day on the Moy. I say it every year, don’t get too excited just yet. It will be at least mid-March before there’s a proper chance of catching a Salmon on the Moy. It’s nice to be getting closer though and we can now see a stretch in the evenings. Here’s a few pictures from during the week
