A slightly duller morning in Foxford, forecast is for some rain later but it will not be enough to rise water levels. The river is getting low and could do with a good freshen up. Today is also promised to be breezy which will make for good bubble and fly conditions. Small shrimp flies appear to be working well at the moment. There’s a steady trickle of fresh Grilse arriving daily but the big run has not arrived yet. I would be hopeful that the next good flood will see a major increase in numbers also as we get further int the month there are some big tides which should help.
