A bright morning in Foxford. The river is now at 0.88m at Ballylahaan bridge. Fishing was slow yesterday. This could be due to the slight rise in levels yesterday morning which brought a heavy peat stain. Good numbers of grilse were moving and as the water settles and clears catches should improve. Ideal level for spinning or fly fishing on East mayo Anglers. Further downstream worm, spin and perhaps prawn will work.
