The First Salmon of the Season in the Foxford area was landed by Local Angler Shane Gainley on Saturday Morning and weighed 7.5lbs. There was heavy rain in the region on Friday and Saturday and the River was in Flood for the weekend, it is still very high but falling and should be back in reasonable order mid week.
