Following yesterdays heavy rainfall the river has risen and is now at 1.2m at Ballylahan bridge. It will be out of order for today at least. Angling activity was quiet yesterday but at least one Salmon of approx 11lb was taken at Pontoon bridge yesterday evening and 2 were taken above the weirs at Ballina.
