A wet morning in Foxford. It looks like we are heading towards another rise in water levels. The river is at 0.61 m at Ballylahan bridge, up very slightly. Last nights rain will enter the system today and we are forecast some heavy rain throughout today. For today the river will be ok for fishing. Spin and worm will be the best methods although it will be ok for bubble and fly or fly rod for the early part of the day on East Mayo and Cloongee fisheries. I will update

22.00 : Some fish caught in the earlier part of the day.The river has been rising all evening. It is now at 1.7m at Ballylahan bridge and will continue to rise. Looking like tomorrow will be very difficult.
