A dry morning in Foxford and it looks like a pretty nice day ahead. The river is creeping up a little this morning. It is now at 0.53m at Ballylahan bridge and will continue to creep for another few hours. Not ideal for anyone wishing to fly fish but it will be ok for spinning. This day next week is the final day of the 2026 season. The weather on sat night and Sunday morning looks wet so realistically we are in the last few days of the season. I have a feeling that Friday and Saturday this week will be busy days on the Moy.

Good morning from a very mild but dull Foxford. The winter is slowly creeping in and there is a very noticeable change in the light.
