A cooler morning in Foxford. Although as has been the case for the past while there were very few anglers on the river yesterday we did hear of a few salmon caught, most were on Bubble and fly. Nothing to get excited about yet but things are slowly improving. By September Salmon angling will be back to normal and we should have a good finish to the season. For now its a matter of been there at the right moment and that’s not always possible. Some rain forecast for later in the day which will bring more cloud cover, prawn and bubble and fly will be the best methods .
