A very mild and still morning in Foxford. The river has crept up to 0.81m at Ballylahan bridge. Not a big rise but there will most likely be a bit of peat stain in the water again.  Reports yesterday of a few fish taken on the fly in the East Mayo Anglers fishery and a few on worm further downstream from Foxford. It has been very quiet recently with lots of fish moving but no great take, hopefully these few fish yesterday are the first signs of a take coming back on the fish. Looking at the weather charts it looks like we will have more rain tomorrow afternoon, lets see what comes.
