A hazy morning with a little bit of mist in Foxford, nice breeze. If these weather conditions continue it will be an ok day for bubble and fly. The river is now at 0.37m at Ballylahan, getting low for the upper parts. Plenty of water from Foxford downstream and nothing to stop fish running. At the moment most of the fish entering the river seem to be running straight through. We got reports of a sealiced fish caught at Pontoon bridge yesterday morning and of a few Grilse taken on Lough Conn with sea lice still on. The ridge pool is producing a few fish as well which is a good indication that fish are arriving.
