A beautiful morning in Foxford, there was some great colours in the sky earlier. Not ideal for Salmon angling, low water,a bright day and a light Easterly breeze. Of course its not impossible but it will be challenging. There are very few anglers on the river at the moment, this will change in the next few weeks as the kids settle back into school and there’s a change in the weather. Fresh water is what we need now, it looks like we will get some rain over the weekend. This will probably not improve things immediately but it will be the start. For today the prawn will be the best method.
