A beautiful morning in Foxford with a little bit of fog over the Moy valley, it should burn off soon. The river is in excellent condition and suitable for all methods. As expected over the weekend the first fish of the season was taken downstream of Foxford and there’s rumours of another couple. A few Mayfly starting to appear on the Loughs and I would expect some good trout fishing out there very soon. For anyone hoping to catch a springer the next two weeks should give a good chance.
