A grey morning in Foxford. The past couple of days could be described as nasty, showers and a cool breeze but at the end of the day no huge amount of rainfall. The river has came up a little, now at 0.3m at Ballylahan bridge its not the flood we need but it is a start and the water is fresher than it was. The water temperature is down also and the Moy fisheries have re opened, good news for anyone with fishing booked on the Ridge or Cathedral pools. The forecast is for more rain later this morning and the week in general looks unsettled so we should get more water into the system. For today, there will be a hint of colour in the water so Spin and worm will be the best methods.
