A dry morning so far in Foxford with a light NW breeze. The river is now at 0.85m at Ballylahan bridge and is clearing well. Suitable for spinning and fly. Not so many anglers on the river yesterday. One group fishing the Cloongee fishery had reported catching three salmon in the early part of the day. We also heard of a few Grilse been taken further downstream. Spin and worm were the best methods. There is no major rain forecast for the rest of the week so water conditions should continue to improve.
