A nice morning so far in Foxford, some rain forecast for today so lets see what arrives. For now the river is in great condition for all methods. 0.67m at Ballylahan bridge and clear. Bubble and fly should start to work again and would be well worth trying on the Cloongee fishery. Further downstream prawn will work. We had a few casts yesterday evening after work and I was lucky enough to get a fish on the fly at Foxford, a nice sized grilse that put up a good battle in the heavy flow.
