A pretty wild and wet morning in Foxford for the last day of the season. Things improved a bit on the river yesterday and we got reports of some reasonable catches. This is probably due to the weather getting colder and the water temperature falling over the past few days. Its late for it to improve but better late than never. For anyone heading out for the last cast today spinning will be the best method. The river is 0.67m at Ballylahan bridge, it may creep a little later but this will not make a difference.
