A beautiful morning with a clear blue sky in Foxford, we had some frost overnight. The river is now at 1.45m at Ballylahan bridge and there is a big volume of water coming from the Loughs. If this dry weather continues there is a chance that the upper fisheries, East Mayo anglers and Cloongee will be in reasonable order by Saturday. Its a tough one to call though and we need to watch the weather carefully. I will have a better idea by tomorrow morning.
