The river was creeping up for a lot of the day yesterday and fishing while still good was not as good as the previous day, still some good reports including one fish over 14lbs. It is now falling and at 0.78m at Ballylahan bridge and suitable for all methods. The forecast is warning of possible thunderstorms which could bring heavy rainfall later this evening.
