A dark wet morning in Foxford. The river is at 1.0m at Ballylahan bridge, still a big volume through Foxford. It wouldn’t be impossible to catch a fish and we are starting to see a few local anglers appear. Its not too bad when living close to the river you can go for an hour or two and head home to warm the hands but to travel for a full days fishing, its just not right yet. The forecast is for more rain this afternoon and over the weekend it is to be unsettled with wind rain and possible hail, not nice.
