A blustery morning in Foxford, we have a strong breeze and showers which are not making it pleasant. The river has come up a little overnight and is now at 0.5m at Ballylahan bridge, that’s a rise of about 30cm. Not enough to get excited about but it will stir up a few fish. Looking at the weather forecasts I’m not expecting any significant rainfall before next week when Tuesday/wed look promising. it’s a long way off to be accurate so lets wait and see what happens. For today the little hint of fresh water should help and it may be a good day to try spinning.
