A little bit better in Foxford this morning, not raining and not windy. The river peaked at 2.6m at Ballylahan bridge yesterday which from an angling point of view is very high. It has dropped a little overnight and is now at 1.94m. That is still very high but at least it will be clearing and it will continue to drop today. The forecast for the coming weekend is a little uncertain but it doesn’t look like they are expecting a lot of rain in this part of the country. Hopefully levels will continue to fall and conditions improve. For today, its going to be worm and spin and as my mother used to say to me when i was a kid “For Gods sake don’t fall in or we will never see you again” . It is high and dangerous and the banks will be slippy.
