A little bit of blue sky over Foxford this morning. My apologies for disappearing yesterday. My laptop cursor decided to play a game of hide and seek with me, it took a bit of figuring out to find it.. Anyway, yesterday the river was rising and was very dirty. The dirt in Foxford was a mix of lake sand caused by the wind and fresh water coming from upstream. It would not have been a good day for fishing. This morning, the river is dropping and is now at 1.5m at Ballylahan bridge. It is difficult to say yet whether it will be in reasonable condition for the weekend, it’s subject to what happens with the weather tomorrow.
